NeTT Alumni Conference Strengthens Child-Centred Learning
HPPI’s NeTT Vaishali team in collaboration with DIET faculty organised the 2nd Alumni Conference on 23rd May 2026. The conference brought together 35 alumni teachers currently working in government schools, creating a vibrant platform to reconnect, exchange classroom experiences, and strengthen innovative teaching-learning practices.
The conference focused on important themes aligned with child-centred education and NEP 2020 principles, including:
• Constructivist Approach in Teaching
• Multi-grade and Multi-level Learning
• Learning through Activities using Kadam Tool Kit

Through interactive discussions and practical sharing sessions, alumni teachers demonstrated how they are implementing learner-centred teaching approaches in their classrooms. Teachers shared inspiring examples of play-based learning, activity-based mathematics and language teaching, peer-supported learning, classroom engagement strategies, and the use of locally developed Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs).
The conference also featured an extensive interaction session with Rabindra Kumar Sa (District Education Officer, Vaishali), who appreciated the teachers’ efforts in creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. The DEO encouraged innovative classroom practices and discussed key aspects of school administration, student engagement, and academic planning.
Shruty (Principal, DIET Vaishali) and the DIET faculty also played a key guiding role throughout the conference.
