World Mental Health Day Celebrated by HPPI’s Project Niramaya in Chh. Sambhaji Nagar
Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) Project Niramaya in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar celebrated World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2025 at Paithan Block, bringing together 564 participants — including school children and community members — to promote emotional well-being and mental health awareness.
The event featured interactive sessions on stress management, emotional awareness, and the importance of seeking timely help. Open discussions encouraged participants to challenge stigma and adopt more supportive attitudes within families and communities.
Through such initiatives, HPPI continues to foster emotionally healthy, informed, and resilient communities, ensuring that access to mental health care and awareness reaches everyone, everywhere.
HPPI is implementing Project Niramaya in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, and Gurugram, Haryana, raising community awareness and contributing to the reduction of non-communicable diseases — including diabetes, hypertension, and breast and ovarian cancers — while improving mental health in its operational areas through a collaborative approach and by enhancing the capacity of service providers on non-communicable diseases.
