Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) Project Arogya organised Nutrition Workshops across 31 villages, reaching 1,035 women and adolescent girls in Kota and Baran districts of Rajasthan during December 2025. The initiative focused on strengthening community health by deepening awareness about the critical role of balanced nutrition during pregnancy, lactationand adolescence. 

The workshops brought together pregnant and lactating women, adolescent girls, ASHA workers, ANMs, doctors and PRI members, creating a shared learning space where knowledge translated into practical action. Participants were guided on simple, affordable, and nutritious dietary choices, encouraging the daily inclusion of sprouts, four varieties of pulses, green vegetables, fruits, coconut water, and lemon water to support better maternal and child health. 

Through live recipe demonstrations and interactive sessions, women learnt how to prepare nutritious meals using locally available ingredients. This approach not only built nutritional awareness but also empowered women with practical tools to improve the health and wellbeing of their families. 

At HPPI, we believe that healthy mothers, nourished children, and empowered women are the foundation of resilient communities. Through Project Arogya, we continue to promote people-led health education—where awareness, access, and action move forward together to build healthier rural communities.
