Empowering Education Beyond Classrooms
Humana People to People India in partnership with the Reliance Foundation, through Project Education and Sports for All (ESA), is promoting holistic development and providing equal opportunities in education and sports for children in India. The Project is building foundational skills of out-of-school children using the Kadam module and promoting their mental and physical development through sports from an early age.Â
The Project focuses on strengthening parental involvement and increasing community participation to improve attendance and learning outcomes. The theme-based activities create a joyful environment and encourage students to make deeper connections which leads to more creativity and innovation in their thinking.
This initiative will benefit over 533 school-age marginalised children from 13 Government Primary Schools in Panchkula District of Haryana. This also includes finding and enrolling 200 out-of-school-children in mainstream education and follow-ups with the 333 previously mainstreamed students and engaging them through recreational activities. We are building a movement where sports fuel self-belief and school readiness.
Together, we’re not just reducing dropout rates—we’re redefining what education looks like for marginalised children.
