HPPI Showcased its Education Initiatives at Bihar Diwas Exhibition in Patna

A three-day celebration of Bihar Diwas 2026 was held from 22nd to 24th March 2026 at Gandhi Maidan to commemorate the formation of the state of Bihar in 1912. The event featured cultural programmes, performances, exhibitions, and displays highlighting Bihar’s rich heritage, art, culture and development achievements.

Humana People to People India’s state team set up an exhibition stall to showcase its key educational initiatives in the state. During the event, the team presented its education programmes, including the Necessary Teacher Training (NeTT) Programme, Kadam Programme, and the Alumni Programme, each focusing on strengthening the quality of education in Bihar. The stall attracted visitors from different sections, including educators, government officials, and community members, providing a valuable platform to collaborate, engage, and inform visitors about its innovative approaches in teacher education (NeTT) and primary school learning enhancement programmes (Kadam).

Through the NeTT Programme, HPPI demonstrated its work in strengthening pre-service teacher training and promoting student-driven learning methodologies across District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs). The Kadam Programme highlighted efforts to bridge learning gaps among primary school children through activity-based and child-centered teaching approaches. The Alumni Programme showcased continued engagement with DIET alumni in improving classroom practices and supporting school education systems.

Interactive displays, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials, and meaningful discussions enabled visitors to gain deeper insights into the impact of HPPI’s work across DIETs and primary schools in Bihar. The event served as an important opportunity to share best practices, strengthen collaboration, and promote quality education initiatives in the state.
