Environmental Sustainability Project in Gurugram celebrated World Environment Day with students of Government Senior Secondary School, Darbaripur. On this day, students performed a street play to support the #BeatPlasticPollution campaign, to raise awareness for environment protection and to encourage actions. They also made posters to show the consequences of environmental degradation and the need to call for actions.

School Principal, Ms. Renu Chawla asked students to say no to single use plastic bags and suggested them to start using cloth bags. Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) team distributed Jute Bags amongst the guests. School Management Committee member Captain Khajan Singh encouraged the students to support tree plantation campaigns and take active participation in the activities for environmental protection. HPPI is implementing the Environmental Sustainability Project in Gurugram in partnership with Macquarie Group since August 2022.
