Skill and Business Information Fair organised by HPPI
In order to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in women, building business linkages and creating awareness about the business-supportive schemes, a Skill and Business Information Fair was organised by HPPI’s DISHA project on 24th February in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. Encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit, the programme was inaugurated by Renuka, City Magistrate, Charkhi Dadri. More than 250 women participated in the fair and women entrepreneurs exhibited their products to enhance their market linkages. The officials from different departments of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Women and Child Development and the Bank Schemes Lead District Manager were also at the fair to provide the necessary support.
HPPI is implementing DISHA project in partnership with YES Foundation. The project aims to provide entrepreneurial development trainings to increase income opportunities, entrepreneurial skills and market linkages for women in 10 districts of Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
