NeTT Computer Lab Inaugurated at DIET, Aligarh

Under HPPI’s NeTT programme, a computer lab was inaugurated at DIET, Aligarh on 23rd February 2024. The computer lab was inaugurated by Sandeep Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Primary Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The inauguration of the computer lab marks a significant stride towards achieving the goals of the NeTT or Necessary Teacher Training programme. The lab is designed to facilitate the training of future teachers, empowering them to embrace technology in their teaching methods. Furthermore, the computer lab will serve as a hub for enhancing the capacities of in-service teachers in ICT-enabled learning.

NeTT is a two-year elementary school teacher-training programme, implemented across 6 District Institutes of Education & Training (DIETs) in Uttar Pradesh in partnership with Rural India Supporting Trust. The objective of the programme is to strengthen the quality of education in the state by equipping teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
