Snorre Westgaard (HPPI, CEO) participated as a panellist in an event organised by the Rural India Supporting Trust (RIST) to discuss the impact of partnerships in the development sector. The conference “India 2023 and Beyond: Partnerships for Impact” was held in New York City on 19th and 20th October 2023. Snorre Westgaard spoke about his experience in partnerships with the external agencies on impact evaluations of programmes. He highlighted the need of improving systems for a lasting impact.

RIST is supporting HPPI in improving the learning levels in government primary schools. This is being executed through the collaboration of HPPI with the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 20 districts of the State. The support also extends towards increasing the efficacy of 2,400 school teachers and strengthening Teacher Training Systems in 6 DIETs. Furthermore, the state government is sustainably continuing to adopt HPPI’s Kadam resources and toolkits in the target schools.
