Project Wel-Netrutva organises Skill Mela
Humana People to People India’s Project Wel-Netrutva, organised a Skill Mela (Fair) in Rampur Sakarwari, Ambedkar Nagar District in Uttar Pradesh on 27th June 2025.
The event was inaugurated by Hans Prakash Singh (Assistant Development Officer), Vijay Rai (CSR Officer, Welspun), and Sudha Kumari (Sub-Inspector, Bewana). Hans Prakash Singh gave information on schemes supporting women-led enterprises and Sudha Kumari encouraged women to become independent. The event had 11 stalls where the Project’s entrepreneurs showcased their products. The Fair brought together 150+ aspiring women entrepreneurs from five villages. Also, three successful business women shared their inspiring entrepreneurial journeys.
Project Wel-Netrutva aims to improve the livelihood status of 120 women by increasing their income through sustainable farm and non-farm livelihood solutions across 10 villages in Ambedkar Nagar and Amethi districts in Uttar Pradesh. Humana People to People India is implementing Project Wel-Netrutva in partnership with Welspun Foundation for Health & Knowledge.
