NeTT Bihar Hosts Alumni Conference in Hajipur
Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) NeTT Bihar, in collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Vaishali, organised an Alumni Conference in Hajipur on 10th November 2025. The event was inaugurated by Ms Shruty, Principal, DIET Vaishali, and brought together 40 alumni teachers trained under the Necessary Teacher Training (NeTT) Programme, who are now serving in government primary schools.
The conference aimed to strengthen a motivated pool of government teachers—graduates of DIETs under the NeTT Programme—who can support and inspire each other while applying the knowledge and skills gained during their training.
Throughout the day, alumni participated in discussions focused on classroom experiences, challenges and innovative solutions. Expert-led sessions on How Children Learn, Multidisciplinary Approaches, and STEAM Education refreshed their understanding and equipped them with practical strategies for improving classroom teaching. The event also celebrated the professional journeys of alumni teachers, fostering renewed connections and reinforcing the belief that “another kind of teacher” can shape “another kind of school”.
HPPI implements Project No Child Left Behind in partnership with The Hans Foundation, supporting inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities in alignment with SDG 4, the Right to Education Act and the National Education Policy 2020.
