Virtual inauguration of Integrated Slum Development Project, Hyderabad
On 23 April 2021, HPPI inaugurated a new Integrated Slum Development Project in Rasoolpura, Hyderabad, focusing on holistically building the community’s resilience through sustainable development activities. The Project with targeted approaches aims to improve the living conditions of the area along with a focus on improving health, sanitation, education and income by linking up to government schemes in slum clusters.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the launch was held virtually which was attended by distinguished members from Bank of America, including COO Mr. Deveshawar Dayal Mathur, Senior Vice President Market lead for Hyderabad, Mr. Mohit Dhingra, Senior Vice President Global lead Mr. Sangeeta Kumar, Senior Vice President ESG Committee Member Mr. Chetan Roy, Senior Vice President ESG lead Mr. Sai Krishna and Manager Corporate Social Responsibility Ms. Balraj Kaur.
Members from HPPI also attended the launch virtually with very few staff and members from the newly established Women’s Health Club visiting the project office.
The project was inaugurated with cutting a red ribbon at the office by Women Health Club leader Mrs. Jarina followed by Project Leader, Mr. Kamal Kishore from HPPI guiding the virtual guests from room to room explaining the activities to take place in each of the rooms.
