Virtual Awareness and training session organised in the Nandghar Project
To fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Frontline workers (FLWs) across the world are working round the clock. To ensure that the FLWs in HPPI’s projects are supported with the right information and awareness, the Nandghar Jodhpur project, being implemented with support from the Vedanta Foundation, organised a virtual training session on aspects of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases for the FLWs in the Project.
During the session, thematic information on the topic was provided by the Delhi-based Chetna Foundation and the Nandghar FLWs enhanced their knowledge about the identification and treatment of infectious diseases and other measures to deal with them. 74 FLWs benefitted from this engaging and informative session.
After a successful session in Jodhpur, team members from the Nandghar Project in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh also organised a virtual session with the Integrated Child Development Services department where more than 75 Frontline Workers took part from different blocks in Amethi. This session was also to raise awareness about COVID-19, discuss the ongoing health issues and the process of vaccinations for COVID-19.
