Humana People to People India (HPPI), in partnership with HDFC Bank CSR, launched Holistic Rural Development Project (HRDP) in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. As part of the launch, the project facilitated the inauguration of various initiatives carried out in the villages, including the renovation of school buildings and toilets, Smart Classrooms, RO Water stations for safe drinking water, solar-based group irrigation, and solar-based drinking water facility for the villages in Soraon Block.

Shri Sanjeev Gond (Honorable Minister for Social Welfare, Scheduled Castes, and Tribal Welfare, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh), graced the event as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the facilities at Government Primary School, Tharwai (Soraon Block). A community of 15 villages, including the Panchayat and key government stakeholders of the Project—such as the Block Development Officer, Block Education Officer, Sub-District Magistrate, Circle Officer, and many other dignitaries—participated in the event. Chandan Verma (National Partnership Officer, HPPI); Dr Srijan Kishore (Manager – Monitoring and Evaluation, HPPI); Vinod Yadav and Natthu Singh (Program Managers, HPPI); and the project team members took part in the inaugural ceremony.
