Project Arogya organises Breast Cancer Awareness Events
HPPI’s Arogya Project Kota has been organising breast cancer awareness events across 31 villages in October. These events are focusing on pregnant and lactating women and members of women’s health clubs. These events educate the community about breast cancer, its symptoms, its prevention and the importance of early detection for better outcomes. The awareness events reached over 1,245 participants and encouraged women to prioritise regular screenings. Healthcare professionals, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) staff, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) members and medical officers actively participated in these events to magnify the reach of the message. United, we are committed to fighting breast cancer and working toward a future free from this devastating illness.
