On 23rd February 2024, Kadam Kurukshetra, Haryana organised an educational tour for students from 12 STCs (Special Training Centres) to Purushottam Pura Park in Kurukshetra.

The tour witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 150 students and teachers. Excursion tours play a crucial role in the holistic development of primary students by offering them unique learning opportunities while fostering social and emotional growth.

Besides enjoying the nature, the students engaged in outdoor games and activities. The highlight of the trip was Anandiben Patel, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, meeting and interacting with the students. This interaction has inspired the students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

Humana People to People India is an implementation partner of the Out-of-school-programme (OoSC) in Haryana. In the current session 14,500 students are continuing their education in STC’s through the Kadam programme.
