HPPI strengthened DIETs in Bihar
Dr. Rashmi Prabha, Joint Director, State Council of Education Research & Training (SCERT), Patna (Bihar) recognised and appreciated the contribution and the continuous efforts made by HPPI in supporting the Teacher Education in state since 2015. She was speaking at the visioning and planning exercise organised by Humana People to People India (HPPI) in collaboration with SCERT on 23 and 24 June as part of the NeTT+ Program at SCERT, Patna.
About 40 participants, including DIET Principals/in-charge and faculties from 12 DIETs and NeTT+ Program coordinators participated in the two-day workshop. Education faculties from NIEPA & CTE (Central University), Education Specialists from HPPI, NeTT+ programmes representatives and State Programme Manager facilitated the sessions. Mr. Sajjan R. (Director, R&T/SCERT) as well as SCERT faculties Dr. Veer Khujur, Mr. Surendra, Dr. Vibha Rani, Mr. Ram Vinay and others also provided their valuable guidance and support.
The workshop was aimed at reflecting on the work and progress made in the first year of NeTT+ programme; stock-taking the programme and partnership with the DIETs and planning the work for next year. The role of DIET as an academic leader as envisaged in NEP 2020 vis-a-vis the programme goals were discussed. The workshop gave an opportunity to the participants to interact with different experts in education and develop a better understanding of different aspects of their work.
