Exposure Visit organised at NeTT Barwani

Great teachers are shaped not just in classrooms, but through experiences that broaden their minds and deepen their understanding of the world. District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Barwani, Madhya Pradesh organised a two-day exposure visit to the iconic Statue of Unity in Gujarat on 26th April 2025. A team of 76 student-teachers visited the statue campus, admired the 182-meter-high Statue of Unity and visited the Sardar Sarovar Dam, Butterfly Garden and Flower Valley. They explored the remarkable life and legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel through rare photographs, historical documents and cutting-edge technologies including 3D mapping, holography and augmented reality.

Such educational exposure visits broaden perspectives, ignite national unity and lay the foundation for future educators to inspire change. Humana People to People India is implementing Necessary Teacher Training (NeTT) Programme in DIET Barwani in cooperation with school education department Madhya Pradesh in partnership with Rural India Supporting Trust.
