DISHA Organises Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme
HPPI’s Project DISHA in Uttar Pradesh organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at Govardhan, Mathura on 22nd May 2024. The event aimed to inspire and educate aspiring women entrepreneurs about starting their own businesses. Ashok Kumar, Assistant Development Officer (ADO) participated in the event as a chief guest along with Yogendra Singh, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Shakti Sharma, Bank Manager (Grameen Bank, Govardhan), Dr Neha Choudhary, Primary Health Centre (PHC), Bhupendra Singh, Director, Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI). At the event the importance of women entrepreneurship and ways of promoting women businesses were discussed. 6 women entrepreneurs shared their inspiring business journeys, providing practical insights and encouragement to the aspiring entrepreneurs. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of more than 210 aspiring women entrepreneurs from the Govardhan region.
HPPI is implementing Project DISHA project in partnership with YES Foundation in 4 states and empowering 46,000 women through providing entrepreneurship development training.
