Dr. Akula Padmavathi
With over four decades of professional experience in social development, Dr. Akula Padmavathi is a Founding Member and Director of HPPI. She was appointed as Chairperson to the Board of Directors in 2004. With a Doctorate in International Economics (USA) and Forensic Science, and a degree in Law, Dr. Padmavathi applies her extensive knowledge in spearheading the mission and vision of HPPI.
Sanjeev Bhatt
With over 27 years of experience in the development sector, Sanjeev Bhatt became one of the Board of Directors in 2001. He is M.Sc. in Botany and leads the Grant Administration department of HPPI. He received the India Achievers Award for Social Service at the 15th National Seminar on Emerging India for his outstanding voluntary contributions to the field of social service.
Kailash Khandelwal
With over 28 years of experience in the development sector, Kailash Khandelwal joined the Board of Directors in 2012. He is a Bachelor of Arts and leads the Livelihood and Community Development initiatives with a core focus on administration, economy overview, capacity building and partnership liaison with governments.
Samrat Roy
A native of Jorhat, Assam, Samrat holds a Graduate degree in Commerce from Dibrugarh University. He has joined the board as an Independent Director with HPPI in March 2023. A certified Micro Finance Professional from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, he has wide range of experience in Financial Management, Business Strategy and Planning, Project implementation and Fundraising. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Magenta Finance Services Pvt Ltd.
Prabha Sati
A Public health professional with over 26 years of experience, Prabha Sati has joined the board as an Independent Director in March 2023. She has rich experience of working in India, Africa, America, Canada, and England. Currently, she is working as Technical Assistance in Strengthen Capabilities Project (TASC), DAI Global Health, UK. She has Master’s degree in Psychology and English Literature and M. Phil in Psychology.
