HPPI was honoured with the Nexus of Good Award 2024 in the Health category for our work in Project LEAD or Leveraging, Engaging and Advocating to Disrupt TB Transmission. The 3rd Nexus of Good Awards event was held on 14th December 2024 at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.

HPPI is implementing Project LEAD among the homeless, migratory and urban slum populations in four mega cities: Delhi, Howrah, Hyderabad and peri-urban Mumbai, in partnership with USAID, TB Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA), JSI and the Central Tuberculosis Division (CTD).

Snorre Westgaard, CEO HPPI, received the Mahatma Award for Leadership in Social Responsibility and Social Impact on the eve of Mahatma Gandhi’s 154th Birth Anniversary in Delhi.

These awards honour the most accomplished social and community initiatives within the private and public sector, from sustainability to philanthropy to shared value to corporate social responsibility. The Mahatma Award 2022 was bestowed upon 93 Social Impact Leaders and Change Makers, who with their social and CSR efforts worked towards making this world a just, equitable and just place. The Award was founded by Gandhian and Social Entrepreneur Amit Sachdeva, CSR Man of India. It is supported by Aditya Birla Group.

Humana People to People India (HPPI) has been felicitated for its work towards creating positive social impact and welfare practices at the Indian Social Impact Awards 2023. Brand Honchos recognised HPPI as one of the top 30 most trusted NGOs at the Indian Social Impact Awards ceremony on 21st January 2023.

Indian Social Impact Awards are designed and curated to extend the platform to recognise and felicitate leaders, organisations, and individuals involved in acts of humanity or social welfare. HPPI was awarded for its work towards creating positive social impact and welfare practices.

HPPI’s Kadam programme received the Nexus of Good Annual Award 2022 on 27th August in an event organised at the Commission room, FICCI, New Delhi.
Kadam was among one of 14 recipients in the Institutional award category. Former Defence Secretary Yogendra Narayan; Founder Chairman of Nexus of Good and former IAS Anil Swarup; and Chairman of FICCI Arise, Shishir Jaipuria, presented awards to the winners.
Kadam is an overarching school education program by HPPI, which works toward bridging the learning gaps for out-of-school and in-school children. The program is aligned with the Right to Education act 2009. Nexus of Good is a movement to identify, understand, appreciate and replicate the goodness and positive work in society.

HPPI’s Kadam programme has been selected among the world’s 14 most innovative formative assessment solutions by the HundrED. Kadam is a bridge education programme that helps the children at the primary school level to bridge their learning gaps and brings them to par with their age-appropriate, grade-appropriate learning levels.

HundrED.Org is a Finland-based, not-for-profit organisation, which seeks and shares inspiring innovations in K-12 education with a mission to give them recognition and visibility. For year 2021, in partnership with the Jacobs Foundation, the HundrED released the report, “Formative Assessment: Improving Learning for Every Child” on 24th June 2022 in which HPPI’s Kadam – A Step Up programme is selected as one of the Spotlight Innovations amongst the 14 innovations, chosen from 129 submissions from 42 countries.

HPPI has been awarded the SGS NGO Benchmarking Certificate on October 30, 2020. The accreditation is a reflection of our robust governance systems, our commitment to accountability towards our stakeholders, and compliance with international best practices.
The SGS NGO Benchmarking Certificate recognises an organisation based on their assessments in 99 objectively verifiable indicators. SGS is an internationally recognised company which has developed the NGO Benchmarking certification audit in 2001 to provide a universal ‘trust standard’ for NGOs globally.
