Project Arogya Strengthening Healthcare Access in Rajasthan

Project Arogya Strengthening Healthcare Access in Rajasthan

Project Arogya is strengthening healthcare access across 31 villages and 59 educational institutes under two PHCs in Kota and Baran districts of Rajasthan. HPPI is implementing the Project in partnership with KK Birla Memorial Society and being supported by CSR, Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd. Throughout the year, the Project worked to strengthen primary healthcare services and build awareness around communicable and non-communicable diseases, maternal health and hygiene. With 156 specialised OPDs and 125 satellite OPDs, over 11,900 individuals received timely medical care. The TB initiatives reached over screening 16,000 people—identifying 212 presumptive and initiating treatment for 16 confirmed cases.

The Project’s health initiatives in schools and vocational training institutes reached an incredible 13,947 students through 285 dedicated check-up camps. Project Arogya also trained 166 Health Ambassadors. Health education is a key focus of the Project, with over 14,000 students participating in awareness sessions. By promoting awareness on communicable and non-communicable diseases, maternal health and hygiene, the Project is fostering healthier communities and improving long-term well-being.
