Strengthening Healthcare through Mobile Health Camps

Humana People to People India’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Project, Barotiwala is strengthening healthcare access for women and children across 25 villages. Through 10 monthly mobile health camps at Anganwadi Centers, the Project provides essential medical attention, counselling and nutrition support to pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls and children.
These camps offer preventive healthcare services, guiding women on maternal care, hygiene and balanced nutrition. Pregnant women and adolescent girls receive iron and calcium supplements to prevent deficiencies, while malnourished children are provided with supplement kits and dietary advice.
So far, 968 women, 230 children, 107 adolescent girls and 73 community members have benefited from counselling and health screenings. By promoting awareness on maternal and child health, the Project is fostering healthier communities and improving long-term well-being.
Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Project, Barotiwala is being supported by Wipro Cares and implemented by HPPI.
