Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) Kadam+ Programme in Munger, Bihar organised a two-day workshop for 140 School Heads from Munger and Jamalpur Blocks during 30-31 July 2024. The workshop aimed to enhance the understanding of the School Heads on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The workshop was inaugurated by Pankaj Kumar (Principal, District Institute of Education and Training [DIET], Munger) and by Anita Baishya (ICT In-charge, DIET, Munger). During the workshop, Sanjaya Kumar Sahu (State Coordinator Bihar, HPPI), Vineet Kumar Singh and Aswani Pandey (DIET Coordinator, HPPI) shared their insights on NEP 2020, its implications for primary education, understanding and assessing learning outcomes in primary education, role and responsibilities of the School Heads in school complex management and strategies for improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills in primary education.

HPPI is implementing the Kadam+ Programme in Munger, Bihar in partnership with ITC Limited, focusing on improving the learning levels among the government primary school children.
