HPPI’s Projects Presented at the Raahgiri Programme
HPPI got an opportunity to showcase its model of Action Against Child Labour Project and Children with Special Needs Project being implemented in Panipat, Haryana. On 30th July the District Administration Panipat organised Raahgiri programme in collaboration with various educational and social institutions. The event was focused on promoting fitness, spreading awareness and reflecting on social issues affecting us.
HPPI’s Action Against Child Labour Project and Children with Special Needs Project Panipat played an important role during the event in spreading awareness about child rights. The project team provided information about government schemes related to child welfare and organised campaigns through signing a pledge for building a child labour-free zone in Panipat and the inclusion of Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
The event saw a significant turnout with more than 10,000 participants, including government authorities’ representatives and dignitaries, community members and Child Right Protection Force’s team members. Prominent dignitaries, including Sanjay Bhatia (Member of Parliament from Panipat); Rajesh Soni (City Magistrate); Virender Kumar Dahiya (District Collector Panipat); Bina Hooda (Assistant District Commissioner); Ajit Singh Shekhawat (Superintendent of Police); Mayank Mishra (Assistant Superintendent of Police) and Kuldeep Dahiya (District Education Officer) visited HPPI’s stall and pledged their support for the cause by signing the signature campaign.
