Name of the Beneficiary: Guddi Devi W/o. Kishan Singh Rajput
Name of the SHG: Ajeetgarh Cluster
Village: Mothuka block of Alwar District
Three years ago, as Humana People to People India’s (HPPI) Microfinance Programme made headway into Ajeetgarh among other districts of Rajasthan, Guddi Devi availed the facility of a small loan through Microfinance programme to improve her livelihood. While this brought tangible progress in her circumstances, her economic condition received another positive boost from the Financial Literacy sessions conducted by “Mein Pragati”- A Project to enhance Financial Capability Building of Poor Women in Rajasthan by CRISIL Foundation and HPPI.
“The training sessions have bolstered my belief in the working of this programme. Recently, when I attended the Financial Literacy Sessions for 2 days – it opened my eyes and made me feel that there are better options ahead if one plans properly. During the training session, I heard everything with attention and I plan to go in for the different schemes suggested.”- Guddi Devi
