HPPI continues implementing GEP
Girls Education Program (GEP) has been working towards creating an equitable society by leveraging the power of education. GEP bridges the learning gap in out-of-school girls and helps them to be a part of the formal education system. It also supports school girls with remedial education classes after their school hours. Special emphasis is laid on extracurricular activities and personality development of the students.
HPPI will continue to implement this program with the support of the Macquarie Group Foundation. Since its inception in March 2021, the program has impacted 2,101 girls. Now, for one more year the program will continue to support 166 girls in completing their 10th grade in 2024. These girls in Mumbai, Gurugram and Nuh had enrolled into the GEP when they were in VIIIth grade.
