HPPI at Workshop for Increasing the Quality of Corporate-Led TB Projects
The Corporate TB Pledge Secretariat with the support of Central TB Division, MoHFW, India, organised a two-day workshop on Augmenting the Quality of Corporate-Led TB Projects. The workshop aimed at building the quality of projects led by corporate partners, actively carrying out screening and testing-based activities at the community level and workplaces. The workshop brought together the industry experts and stakeholders to discuss and deliberate on ways of reaching the targets of eliminating TB by 2025 more efficiently than ever. The workshop was held on 30th and 31st January 2024 at Hotel Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
HPPI has engaged with many partners to develop an effective and sustainable model for reaching the highly vulnerable population for fighting TB. The Union, a key partner, invited HPPI to participate in the workshop. Representatives from HPPI, Jahangeer Alam (Project Coordinator LEAD), Shivani Narang (National Partnership Officer), Mahender Singh (Project Lead LEAD Delhi), Ravinder Singh Project Leader TASA) and Zaryab Ahmad (Monitoring and Evaluation Manager) gained valuable insights during the workshop and made important connections with potential partners.
HPPI received recognition and appreciation from Dr Sanjay Kumar Mattoo (Additional Director General, Central TB Division) and Dr Amar Shah (Senior TB Advisor, USAID) at the workshop.
