Capacity Building Sessions for Kadam DOs
HPPI organised comprehensive four-day capacity building sessions for Kadam Division Organisers (DOs) and project leaders from 17th to 20th December 2024 in HPPI’s Head Office in New Delhi. The primary goal of the sessions was to foster a progressive learning environment in schools by promoting quality teaching and innovative learning methodologies.
A total of 50 DOs and project leaders from 7 states—Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra—participated actively in discussions, poster presentations and other collaborative activities. The DOs and project leaders showcased their best products and experiences. The event culminated in a detailed three-month project activity plan to enhance teaching outcomes across regions.
The Kadam Programme, designed as a bridge to address learning gaps in children, is implemented in collaboration with respective State Governments. In 2024, the programme reached 1.5 lakh primary school children and engaged 6,000 primary school teachers and education volunteers.
